2024 Research Resources Expo

Overview:

Core facilities and shared resources are key catalysts for research at the University of Miami (UM). The UM Research Resources Expo 2024 will showcase the research resources available across the University. There will be a seminar on core facilities across UM, and poster sessions on two campuses, with each poster session displaying the core facilities and other shared research resources available on all the UM campuses.  In addition, there will be breakout panel sessions, each focused on specific areas of core services, and there will be tours of cores.  All Expo events are free and open to UM faculty, trainees, students, and staff, as well as to external investigators.

Lunch will be provided at the poster sessions on both campuses.

Lottery Prizes for Use of Cores ($5,000 Total):

Five prizes will be randomly awarded to poster session attendees that register by March 8, 2024, for a poster session on either campus.  Each of these five prizes will be a total of $1000 for use of core resources or services (selected by the prize winner) offered by any of the core(s) presenting at the Expo.
