Find Funding Find Funding

There are a wide range of funding opportunities available for UM's researchers within the US federal government, foundations, non-profit entities, corporations, and local and state government. Navigating funding announcements and identifying those opportunities which best match science and scientist can be challenging.  While the Office of Research Administration generally does not search for funding opportunities for individual faculty members, this section of our website provides information on internal and external funding sources.

Office of the Vice Provost for Research/Internal UM Funding

Internal Awards are also available from the University of Miami for faculty on all campuses. Questions related to Internal/UM Funding should be directed to the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.

Also, check the links below for further information on programs that have a restricted application process or recent announcement from the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.

External Funding - Federal Sources

Grants.gov is a central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs and provides access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards.
